If you have been to the Goku's Corner Facebook Fan Page yet today, you probably noticed the little heated discussion we have going on. I have decided to ask the same question I posted on Facebook here and see what everyone thinks! So, this week's question is:
If Gohan fought Goku when Goku was Gohan’s age, who would win?

It would be pretty even. Gohan may have a higher power level, but early in the Saiyan Saga and Frieza Saga he can not reach his full potential. However, when Goku was Young he was able to beat Master Roshi (Jackie Chun) Tien and King Piccolo since he relied on his strength and knew how to unlock his powers.
It depends. If it's Saiyan Saga Gohan then he would be schooled by Kid Goku because while more powerful he was a big wimp with out the fighters instinct needed to survive in a fight and he couldn't use his powers well.
Freeza Saga Gohan however would school Kid Goku because by then he had finally learned to overcome his fear of battle and actually fight. Plus the power gulf would simply be too large for Kid Goku to overcome
Gohan should win this in any age. In the Saiyan arc, Gohan was around 5 and was able to cause major damage to Raditz, and got in shots on both Nappa and Vegeta. And considering the fact that Goku was 12 when he was bearly a match for Roshi, isn't helping his case. And we all know what Gohan was capable of at the age of 11. When Goku was 18, Piccolo (pre Saiyan arc) almost killed him. When Gohan was 18, Super Buu was his slap stick.

This is a pretty good question and I'm sure most people will say Gohan would win, but I'll go the other way. I think a younger Goku would win. I just watched Dead Zone last week and based on how scared young Gohan gets in the movies/series, he just can't get over his fears in order to harness his great power(that overpowered Garlic Jr.), that is greater than his father Goku at the same age. Goku had the never say die fighters attitude, Power Pole, Kamehameha Wave and Nimbus Cloud, that give him the big edge over a scared young Gohan. (I'm basing my answer on young Goku from DB vs young Gohan from DBZ, since no specific age was given.)
im gonna say the same as some people that already commented. kid goku would win against gohan in the saiyan saga. he was not ready to fight and scared, so kid goku would have the advantage. but gohan in the frieza saga probably could win easy since he now knows how to fight and can fly. something that goku didnt learn until he was older.

Gohan by far. Goku could barely beat Earthlings and Gohan was out taking on Saiyans and Freeza.
Depends. If Goku got hungry, Gohan would definitely win. Other than that, I say a draw.
