Training not to do with Origins 2
Jul 14, 2010
Just thought I would note that the past 3 or 4 training activities have been focused around the release of Origins 2. I think that in part it is a great way on this site to celebrate the release of the game. However, I do think it can be a handicapped for some members to earn quite a bit of ki. At least 2 - 3 of the origins activities can only be completed if you own a copy of the game or have a generous friend who will let you play it all the way through. It seems a tad unfair to the majority of the 4040 members of this site who probably do not own a DS or Origins 2 at all. I'm not upset about this, but just thought I would share my thoughts and also hope to see some non-Origins training pop back up soon enough!by | 3 comments | -
Two More Training Sessions Down!
Jun 14, 2010
I finally got around to completing a couple more sessions of training. I tried to post my time-chamber submission last week, but the image loader was being difficult
However, I think I got it to work this time. Below is my time chamber, which I based strongly on the original, but made a few tweaks to. I created it in ArchiCAD which is what I use almost everyday at my job to design buildings, so this was a fun side project for me. Also below is my case art for my Dragonball Game Development activity. I wanted to feature a game that showcases the more weapon based Dragonball characters in a story mode/versus game, much in the style of the 'Soul Calibur' games where weapons are the main focal point in battle. See my activity submission (once it's approved!!) for more details. Until next time...

The Time Chamber
Jun 8, 2010
Finally finished the Hyperbolic Time Chamber Training with just a few days to spare! I used ArchiCAD 13 to create the model, then tweaked some things in Photoshop. Here is my submital.

Been Awhile..
May 27, 2010
It's been a little bit since I've done an involved training session for GC. Work has taken over my life (more than usual!) so it has been a bit harder to complete training sessions. I finally got around to finishing the DBZ Playlist today. Here is a copy of my custom album art. Now off to work on the Hyperbolic Time Chamber Session!

Prize Day!
Mar 29, 2010
I finally crossed 190,000 ki today and could not resist claiming the PS3. My ki now dropped back to a measly 3,830 but that's ok. This site has been so much fun with the variety of challenging activities. I can't wait to continue in activity participation as well as seeing the rest of the great contributions to the site!
